Nigeria's tech scene moves fast. A fintech raises money on Monday, the CBN changes a rule on Tuesday, and by Friday there is a new phone everyone is talking about. Keeping up means knowing where to look.

We went through the Nigerian tech blogs and publications people actually read and picked the 10 worth your time in 2026. Each one does something different, so we tell you what it is best for. Yes, our own site is on the list. We have tried to be fair about where it fits.

How we picked these

They publish regularly and are still active in 2026

They focus on Nigerian or African tech, not just global headlines

They have a clear strength, from startup funding scoops to phone prices

They have a track record. Most have been around for years

The 10 best tech blogs in Nigeria

1. TechCabal

Launched in March 2013 by Bankole Oluwafemi and Seyi Taylor, TechCabal is the closest thing Nigerian tech has to a newspaper of record. It is published by Big Cabal Media and covers startups, fintech, telecoms and policy across Africa.

Beyond articles, its TechCabal Daily newsletter, its Moonshot conference and its TC Insights research arm make it a hub for founders and investors.

Read it for: big funding stories, regulation and the business of African tech.

2. Techpoint Africa

Founded by Adewale Yusuf, Techpoint published its first article on January 1, 2015. It is known for clear explainers and its Techpoint Digest newsletter, which reaches about 30,000 subscribers. It also runs events like Techpoint Build.

3. Technext

Technext launched in 2017 and was co-founded by David Afolayan, Anderson Ozakpo and Famous Ehichioya. It covers Nigerian and African tech with a mix of news, analysis and reviews, and has run projects like #streettech that look for innovation outside the usual Lagos bubble.

Read it for: a broad Nigerian tech feed with a local flavour.

4. Condia (formerly Benjamindada.com)

Benjamin Dada started his blog around 2018. In October 2024 it rebranded as Condia, and it now publishes news and insights on African tech, with sections on fintech, mobility, venture capital and AI, plus industry reports.

A quick tip for staying informed

You don't need to read all ten every day. Subscribe to one daily newsletter, such as TechCabal Daily or Techpoint Digest, and bookmark one consumer site for when you need to buy something. Then check a site like ours when a story breaks and you want to know how it affects you.
